How to use InkToAudio

A complete, plain-English guide for turning your writing into studio-quality audio and distributing it as a podcast. Every feature is explained step by step — no technical knowledge required.

Team members and roles

Open Team in the sidebar to see who can access the current workspace, invite teammates, and manage roles. The page also shows how many seats your plan allows and how many are in use.

What each role can do

  • Owner — manage billing, account settings, the team, content, and everything visible in the workspace.
  • Admin — manage account settings, the team, and content, but not billing.
  • Editor — create and edit content and view the workspace.
  • Viewer — view dashboards, content, and other workspace information without making changes.

Role-based navigation

InkToAudio hides actions your role cannot use. For example, only owners see Subscription, and viewers do not see content-creation tools.

Invite a teammate

  1. Open Team from the sidebar.
  2. Enter the teammate's email address.
  3. Choose Admin, Editor, or Viewer.
  4. Click Send invite.

Owners can invite any available role. Admins can invite Editors and Viewers. The recipient must sign in with the invited email address and accept the invitation within seven days.

Seats and pending invitations

Your subscription determines the maximum number of people who can access the workspace. Active members and unexpired pending invitations both use seats. Revoke an unused invitation to free its seat, or change plans when you need more.

Change roles or remove access

  • Owners can change roles and remove teammates. Only an Owner can grant or remove the Owner and Admin roles.
  • Admins can change or remove Editors and Viewers.
  • Editors and Viewers can leave a team from their own row.
  • A workspace must always have at least one Owner, so the final Owner cannot be demoted or removed.

Switch between workspaces

If your login belongs to two or more workspaces, use the Workspace menu near the bottom of the sidebar to switch. Dashboard data, content, settings, and team membership then reflect the selected workspace.
